[EN] Kwaga meets the Geeks on a Plane

by Yohann

Imagine you're a Geek on a Plane. Well, not exactly ON a plane because your flight from Prague to Paris has been delayed. So you're hanging around, drinking coffee and buying souvenirs since wifi doesn't work.
Finally your jet takes off and you are keen to make it to Ignite Paris, where fellow geeks like Dave McClure & Mike Butcher will listen to and lend valuable feedback to promising French startup companies. You're in a hurry - no time to check all of your email messages, tweets and pokes that have been piling up in your inbox while you were off-line...
In such a situation wouldn't it be great to have a tool for email that automatically scans your messages in order to filter them by priority? A sort of virtual secretary helping you choose which messages to have a look at before the speakers start?
Well, this is what Philippe Laval and Joshua Eckblad of Kwaga presented to the travelling audience:
Kwaga applies natural language processing to identify pertinent information such as meeting requests, deadlines, events or phone numbers hidden in your inbox. Kwaga then highlights any important data by adding icons and special labels to your email interface.
Learn how it works and get your invitation code on www.kwaga.com - Private Beta just now up and running.
